The #1 Puppy Safety Concern Is…

The #1 puppy safety concern is: To socialize or not to socialize your puppy before he's had all of his vaccinations

From everything you’ve heard, what’s more important…1. To keep your puppy isolated until fully vaccinated?

OR

2. SAFELY socialize your puppy BEFORE they turn 16 weeks?

Your Answer Please!!!! _____________________

To socialize or not to socialize, that is the question. (To borrow a line from the Bard!)

All levity aside, you want to keep your adorable, new puppy safe from contagious diseases, so you’d think the answer would be to isolate your puppy until he’s had all his vaccines. That’s the safest thing to do, right?

Veterinarians do recommend keeping your puppy home until fully vaccinated. However, this often results in isolated puppies who don’t get their developmental needs met.

The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior’s position statement on puppy socialization is that puppy socialization goes “hand in hand” with vaccination.

Did you know that you can SAFELY socialize your puppy by taking extra precautions?

Take the extra step and get your puppy socialized in a fun and friendly and safe manner, because did you know: behavioral problems are the number one reason dogs are given to shelters!

Young puppies need to practice their social skills with other dogs and puppies, AND they need to learn about the world around them that includes: Places, People, Sounds, Surfaces, Vehicles, Animals and more!

As a trainer, I’m committed to providing the safest, clean, disinfected environment possible for young puppies to learn in, before the socialization window begins closing around 16 weeks.

Can I say that I’ve never had a puppy get sick, because of attending class? Um…actually, YES. I can say that!
